Print: Stockport Pyramid UFO Attack A5 size (Copy)
The pyramid is one of Stockport’s more striking landmarks, and although it seems to be dormant, awaiting a new tenant, that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing going on there. In fact, if you were to swing by, you’d find it well guarded and with a number of cars in the car park?
Why? Could it be a secret status as a cornerstone of UFO defences? Could that be why the Co-op shone huge Vegas style out of it, visible from the other side of Manchester in the mid 1990s? They called it Christmas decorations, but if they had a UFO-beating laser, they’d need to test that it was working wouldn’t they? If so, it would leave Stockport a bit open to alien attack, but at least we’re well armed.
This is a digital print printed on thick recycled paper. It comes unframed and has colour to the edge. This A5 print is 148mm wide and 210mm tall (that’s half the size of standard office paper)
It is presented in bio-degradable packaging and will be delivered flat.
Unfortunately it is not possible to post framed prints. Framed prints can be delivered locally - to arrange this, please contact charmingbadger@outlook.com.
Fun fact: Stockport: A History by P. Arrowsmith published by Stockport Metropolitan Council has a particularly fine photograph of the pyramid shining a laser out the top on the back cover.
