Death head moth wooden pin - hand painted brooch / badge
Death head moths are intrinsically beautiful moths and appeal to many nature lovers, however their markings, being reminiscent of a skull also appeals to fans of the macabre. This pin has been popular with those who are into alternative and gothic aesthetics.
This little wooden pin, is designed by me, laser cut from sustainable ply wood, prepared and hand painted. The gold plated brooch pin has been attached with jewellery strength glue. Finally it has been given a coating of varnish to give it a bit of protection from knocks and the weather - mind you, it wouldn’t like going through the washing machine however (what moth would?)
It is presented in a recycled card box, wrapped suitably for gifting. It’s packed plastic free - as I’m trying to be one of the good guys.
