Blue tit pin badge - hand painted wooden brooch, bird lover gift
This is a bright cheerful and cute little blue tit brooch which would appeal to a bird lover or lover of British wildlife.
It is made of ply, is painted with acrylics and has a light coating of non-yellowing varnish to provide a little protection from damp and knocks (that said, it hasn't been designed for a soaking - so don't try sticking it in the washing machine). On the back there is a brooch which is has been securely attached with jewellery grade glue.
The pin is approximately 6 × 4 cm and it's presented on a card in a small box - both of which are made from recycled card. It comes in plastic-free packaging as I'm trying to be one of the good guys.
