Summer update

Hello friends!

Well… COVID may not be over, but it’s starting to feel more like it will be, one day, perhaps - in the not too distant future please? Things are a little more locked down here in Greater Manchester than most of the UK, but we’re still able to move around locally and having had both jabs it felt like the right time to start getting out again. So, in the last month, I’ve been out at Stockport market, not once, not even twice but three times! Thanks to anyone who bought something, but I’m also genuinely grateful for anyone who brought smiles and laughter to my stall. You won’t believe how much I’ve missed that. I’m scouting for new market dates in the general South Manchester area and hope to have news soon. When I do, you’ll find it in my new shops and markets page.

Talking of which, I’ve been doing a bit of housekeeping on the website. As part of the clear up I’ve decided to streamline my online shopping channels. So, my online shop now directs you to either Etsy (my main shop) or Thortful. Thortful is a new addition, and while I like having control over the production process, they can do things I can’t. They can print cards and messages and get them out to their recipients the same day if ordered before 5pm. They also print larger sizes than I do and they can add extras like chocolates, so it seemed daft not to give it a whirl.

In other news, I’m starting small with exhibiting. When I say small - I mean SMALL! The lovely Dolls House Art Gallery and ARC centre in Stockport have joined forces to put on a joint exhibition of matchbox sized art in the Merseyway Stockport which is open right now. You can find a video of the contributions here - see if you can spot my Cinnabar moth and ladybird combo.
